MVP Feedback!
- 05/02/2020
Hello! Team 12 here.
This blog is all about our MVP feedback session! We had a meeting with Antonio and Peter to receive criticisms and praises about the MVP we presented back in november.
We received a high grade for our software and so a lot of the feedback was about how we could maintain our high score. A major point of praise was around our interesting game mechanics and how easy to learn they are. They were also very impressed by the polished aesthetics of the game including the sprites, dynamic lighting, level design and sound.
We also received a high grade for our presentation. They liked the opening video cutscene as it was impactful and held everyone's attention. The team members who presented did a great job of keeping the audience engaged and responding to their questions! Well done guys!
We did however also receive some comments on how we could improve. We didn't mention some of the storyline elements of our game which could have potentially brought our grade up even more. In regards to the storyline they said that having choke points to bring different story branches back together was crucial to keeping everything manageable. We were told that whilst the software is an element of the whole module the teamwork is another huge factor and it cannot be forgotten!
