MVP prep

Hi from Team 12 again! In this blog we’ll discuss the preparations made by the team in order to ensure the MVP was ready for the submission date! The MVP (Minimum Viable Product) is a version of the project which has implemented the core elements of the game, and is able to be used reliably by end-users.

We held a meeting as a team to discuss the criteria that our specific MVP needed to achieve and our approach to doing that. We concluded that since the MVP had to be presented within a set timeframe we should focus on showing only the best parts of our game. We decided we wanted to use a cutscene to introduce our game during the MVP so we assigned several team members the role of creating assets (Music,Images and voiceover) for the cutscene. The developers were given the task of porting the hack over from the previous system and also implementing the disease spread algorithm. The Team Leader spent some of this time organizing the trello board to help the team know what tasks everybody has been assigned
