Team 12’s Finest

In this blog post, we aim to introduce the team behind our game Plague Doctor. The team has been working flat-out for the past month or so in order to deliver a fun and engaging experience in the form our game. So, without further ado, here are the members of the team:

Leon has been instrumental in converting the team from computer science students into a tightly-knit, fine-tuned, game-designing team. Leon has been responsible for various game documentation, organising the tasking of team members, overall team direction, and acting as a focal point for all team members to direct ideas and feedback.
Inder | Programmer | Level Design | Graphics |
Inder is a programmer through and through. He has been a mainstay for the team’s programming and has ensured that the team’s ideas are effectively translated into code.
Vanessa | Programmer | Graphics | Level Design |
Vanessa is a multi-faceted member of the team who has had a part to play in multiple game features. In addition, she has drawn up numerous incredible pieces of art for the game as well as worked on various elements of the story.
Hasan | Website and Marketing | Programmer | Social Media |
Hasan’s work has mainly involved creating and maintaining the PlagueDoctor website and its associated features (blog, etc). He has also been responsible for ensuring that the site is professional and suits our target audience. Additionally, any product or information released by the team is made available on the website.

Ali has been helping with the initial programming for the game. He has also been responsible for writing up documentation for the game. In addition, he has assisted with the team resourcing and tasking. He also acts as deputy team leader.

Jessica’s main area of work has been managing the team’s and the game’s social media accounts. She has also played a big part in setting up and executing tests for the game.
Cheung (Roy) | Programmer | Disease Algorithm | Testing |
Roy’s main focus has been writing the story for Plague Doctor. The story will be given to the player in the form of interactions with in-game items and characters, and cutscenes. Roy writes story elements in such a way as to engage the player and make it worthwhile for the player to actively seek out the story of the game.

Max has taken up a programming role and has been a reliable team member to turn to when a programming task needs to be done. His primary focus is the creation and fine-tuning of the disease algorithm which will be a core feature of the game.
